finley’s playdates
Last week Finley got to see three of her best friends. She had so much fun playing with the girls. She’s now getting to the age where she can actually “play” and interact more with other kids. On Wednesday we went over to Sienna’s house and Finley was so excited to see her and play with all of her toys – they even started to fight over them (it was pretty cute… I’m sure when they’re 3 it won’t be as adorable :-). They were grabbing each other’s hands, climbing all over each other and so excited to chat back and forth. We took them on a walk in their baby bjorns and I know Finley can’t wait to do it again.
On Friday we went over to Ana and Elise’s new house and played. Finley was in toy heaven with all of their toys and books, she couldn’t get enough of it. But one of her favorite things to see at their house was Bailey, their sweet chocolate lab. He was so friendly to Finley as she grabbed him, pulled his hair and attempted to give him big sloppy kisses. She was reaching for Bailey the whole time we were there and if he walked away she would get so sad and start yelling for him. Bailey even started to lick Finley and she loved it. I think she wants a dog :-) Finley loves Ana and Elise and they are so good with her. They shared all of their toys with her and Elise even brought her all of her favorites to try out. Finley even got to join them at the big girls table while they had their snack. She officially started sitting up on her own while we were there too! She was so enamored with their toys and with Bailey that she had so many things to concentrate on to help her stay up.
It was a really fun week and can’t wait to see all the girls again. Later this week we are hoping to meet up with Finley’s favorite boys… she is one lucky girl! I am really glad she has some great kids to grow up with, I hope they are all friends forever.
Finley! You are sitting up all by yourself! “Yeah, yeah mom, I’m trying to read this really cool book!” I think she held onto that book the entire time we were there, so cute.
