takes me back

Are there certain things that remind you of a feel-good-memory? This picture did that for me – I love it. It reminds me of the smell of cows in the middle of summer that wafts in your car while driving down Beacon Light towards Emmett Hwy. It reminds me of the many horseshows my mom and I did together, getting up early catching the horses, studying reigning patterns, and grooming the horses. It takes me back to feeding horses and mucking stalls in the brisk chill of winter.
