18 months and vacation
Is it really October already? Oh how I love this time of year.
Yesterday Finley had her 18 month appointment (although she is almost 19 months, what??!!) and it went great. She is right on track for everything and our tiny little peanut couldn’t be more perfect. She makes us proud in every way. She says a handful of words including… up, help, MA (she yells Ma when she wants me, lol), dadda, ice (her favorite and it’s never said just once, usually something like “ice ice ice ice ice ice ice”), clock, cracker, hi (usually to animals), horse, moo, oops, uh oh, yeah (she says yes to almost everything, it’s pretty cute). I’m sure there’s more words but those are the ones off the top of my head. She points to her body parts and loves to snap her fingers, stomp her feet, bump fists, hula hoop (this is hysterical) and dance. She still signs more, milk, please and all done. She also sings Eeee-iiii-eeee-iiiii-ooooh and sings along with the ABC’s.
And one of her favorite things right now is babies – real babies or baby dolls, she is in love. She holds them, kisses them, gives them binkies, snuggles them and pats their backs while she hugs them. This melts my heart.
A couple weeks ago she and I went on a wonderful trip to Boise to see my parents. We had a blast and Finley got to soak up her passion of animals. She begged us every second that she could to go outside and see the horses and cows. She got to sit on Roesie and loved taking them hay. I think we need to get this girl up for a horse show!
Hi Cody, I’ll figure out how to break in there and play!
Mom, how can you take all of these pictures when the horses are hungry. This is important business.
Here you go guys, don’t mind that lady with the camera!
