9 months

Today our sweet girl turned 9 months old! She has really grown a lot this month, – she learned how to sit up on her own (and get to the sitting position all by herself), she started saying “dadadada,” she started eating little finger foods on her own, she had her first Thanksgiving, her first two teeth have come in, she started singing with us (love), and started playing games with us (like peekaboo… her favorite!). She is always happy and gets so excited over the littlest things which is so precious. She is very outgoing and animated and lights up any room with her bubbly personality. She loves to be around other babies and kids. Her most favorite thing is dogs, she absolutely adores dogs. Whether she is petting them or they are licking her face, she is shaking with excitement. She is just so much fun. We are really looking forward to her first Christmas!

Here she is playing after her appointment today – she was acting extra happy this afternoon, it must because she didn’t get any shots!

Here are the stats from her 9 month check up today (Doc told us she was “advanced” – we are so proud of her!). After her appointment we gave her cereal puffs (like cheerios) for the first time… she ate them so well.

weight – 15 lbs, 7.5 oz (3%)
head – 17.125 inches (30%)
length – 28 inches (55%)
