seattle in the fall

We had a busy day today and it was a blast! We started the day by taking Finley to her first symphony – it was a Halloween program for kids and we really enjoyed it. Finley slept the second half but while she was awake she was so interested in the music and everything going on around her. We’ll definitely be taking her again! Then we went over to our “Seattle family’s” house (the Jones’s) to meet for lunch. Finley sat in a restaurant high chair for the first time and she loved it. She entertained us while eating avocado in her little mesh feeder then devouring her prunes and carrots. She loved walking in the rain (with umbrella of course :-) in the baby bjorn – seriously she loves that thing. We then spent the afternoon watching football at their house and Finley loved every second. She was on her very best behavior playing nicely with her toys, making us giggle with her bubble blowing and snuggling while she slept in our arms (awwww, my favorite).

Marissa and I made a Baskin Robbins run and I highly recommend their oreo ice cream and rainbow sherbet – oh my it was delicious!

Thanks to the Jones family for such a fun Saturday!

Intently watching the symphony performance, such a good student :-)

Walking in Queen Ann and enjoying the rainy Fall weather. As you can see, Finley was fascinated with the umbrella, she held onto it the whole walk!
