25 Weeks

I am officially 25 weeks… and growing!  We had a big growth spurt this month – I grew 7 cm (now totaling 26 cm) and have gained a total of 15 pounds in 6 months. Peanut is also growing quickly – she is between 9 and 12 inches and weighs approx. 1 1/2 pounds. Her vocal chords are now working so they say I may feel her hiccup soon and the doctor said I will start to have contractions at anytime. We are feeling her move more and more often. Our favorite thing to do in the evening is sit on the couch and feel her move across my stomach. Kris is really good at making her move. Wow, we can’t wait to meet our little girl. We wake up every day thankful for this blessing.

Our remodel is making progress! The closet walls are going up this week and all drywall is targeted to complete this weekend. We will start painting the nursery soon and the crib arrived this week. I’m now spending my free time browsing online for decorating ideas. :-)
