Finley – 12 weeks!

Finley will be 12 weeks tomorrow, I can’t believe how fast she is growing! She is still very small for her age, but looking back at past pictures makes us realize how big she is really getting. We estimate (by standing on the scale and subtracting our weight) she is a little over 8 lbs now (double her birth weight!). She is smiling so much and we can’t get enough. She recognizes our voices and turns whenever she hears our voices. She loves to make eye contact and is engaged when you talk to her. When we smile at her she smiles back and she even tries to talk sometimes with the most beautiful noises. She moves a ton, kicking and waving her arms. She puts weight on both legs when you hold her up and she is getting really good at holding her head up. She loves to lift herself when we lay her on her tummy either on our chest or on the floor. She lights up every room she is in and brightens our every day.

This is how she sleeps most of the time. I successfully got her in the car seat without her waking or even moving.

Laughing even after spitting up! Finds joy in pretty much anything, that’s my girl.

Time to change that bib! Her eyes are turning more and more blue (wish you could tell in these pictures!). They are beautiful!
